In April 2007, TAM Asset Management and Dynamic Funds Management merged to form Equius Partners.
TAM was founded in 1992 by Jeff Troutner as one of the first investment advisory firms to employ a pure asset class strategy using, primarily, the institutional index funds of Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA). Dynamic Funds Management was founded in 1983 and transitioned to a fully indexed investment strategy under the leadership of Phil Jonckheer.
The primary focus of our firms has been assisting individual investors, trustees, and corporate retirement plan fiduciaries in meeting their investment objectives. Our Managing Directors and Principals have extensive investment experience, including many years on “The Dark Side” (active management), bringing a unique and well-rounded perspective to the challenge of long-term investing.
